Robert “The Cooz” Cousy is a retired Boston Celtic who was recently inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. Before he was a Celtic, he helped the College of the Holy Cross to the NCAA Playoffs, twice, in 1948 and 1950.
As a Celtic, Cooz “had grace” in executing the point guard position. Especially when he was alongside Bill Russell (Fellow Hall of Famer). Nicknamed “Mr. Basketball,” Bob’s jersey and number 14 were both retired at the old Boston Garden
