Muse Models At Met
Opening on May 6th, the Metropolitan Museum’s The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion, highlights the influence of models on the fashion industry from 1947-1997. The exhibit features close to 70 pieces from a wide range of designers (Yves Saint Laurent, Ralph Lauren, Helmut Lang) as well as advertisements, editorials, and video footage. The opening gala, which will take place on May 4th, is attended by fashion luminaries like Anna Wintour (see Fa Mas Archives at bottom right) as well as fashion’s rising stars.
