Pharrell Williams talks about his co-OWNERSHIP of Brooklyn Machine Works. The brand makes everything from track bikes to BMX and park bikes, as well as downhill models. Pharrell talks about “posers” and how he himself is a big poser.
The bike was built from scratch by Nicholas Yvars for promotion of his company Ateliers d’Embellie, where he sells his leather goods bags as well as his artwork. The leather was meticulously hand stitched to the tubes. The FLASK under the seat is a particularly nice personal touch. Unfortunately this single-speed will not see production. Mr. Yvars insists his “Leather x Porteur” is solely for his own enjoyment.
