Most interesting about this short has to be the way he employs the “tilt-shift time-lapse” technique. The technique is also called “fake miniature” and was also used for a recent Nike video. We think that Director Kieth Loutit uses the technique even better in “Bathtub IV”. On a side note the music is Megan Washington’s “Clementine.”

Lily Allen as the New Face of Chanel?
Models are still losing out to celebrities with this new handbag campaign from Chanel- it features Lily Allen as the new face of the brand. Karl Lagerfeld personally chose Lily for the role, and shot the photographs himself. (You can even see Mr. Lagerfeld in the foreground of the picure below.) The bags, which will be released this September will start at around $1,500. Many have said the campaign looks very reminiscent of Breakfast at Tiffany’s and we can’t help but agree.
